Declaring War on the Empire

200 years ago today, the U.S. declared war on the British Empire. In the course of the war of 1812, the British occupied Washington D.C. and burned several buildings, including the White House. Today, the British have occupied the Nation’s capital again, through their puppet President Barack Obama.
